Cherished Minds Psychology is created out of a strong value system that the little people in our lives and within our community are not only special to us but also need help at times to be heard, to make sense of the big wide world around them and to find a safe place and a trusted support person who can walk alongside them throughout the tough times.
The Psychologists at Cherished Minds understand that life does not always provide a smooth road and challenges of many shapes and sizes often pop up when we least expect them, complex behavioural, emotional, social, developmental and familial bumps and road blocks can often take us by surprise needing the right person to help us find our way.
At Cherished Minds we strive to advance our skills and knowledge relating to many areas including developmental conditions such as ADHD, ODD, Autism and anxiety though experience, peer support and dedication to support children and adolescents. From those who have seemingly strong voices to those who have no voice at all, Cherished Minds looks past the behaviour and helps to create clarity and organisation to path the way forward.
Cherished Minds provides an understanding, professional and positive work environment, making sure to take time to laugh and connect with the people around us.
The team at Cherished Minds not only nurtures the growth of the young people we walk alongside through spending valued time with them and their families, but we act as advocates for those whose needs are not understood, are being unjustly ignored or for those who are simply not in a position to stand for themselves.
We are growing and have positions available for Registered Psychologists to commence in February 2020. Newly registered Psychologists are welcome to apply.
If Cherished Minds calls to you and you would like to develop your career further, we would love to hear from you. To obtain a position description please contact Kellie Knapton.
